From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Isle-of-Palms was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Isle-of-Palms post office opened in 1913.

We also found Isle-of-Palms on a map titled Shell Oil Road Map for South Carolina (1956).
