At the time of the 2010 Census, Cassandra had a population of 147 people. This makes Cassandra the county's 32nd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 147 people, the population of Cassandra increased 8.09% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 136 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Cassandra was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Cassandra post office opened in 1887.

We also found Cassandra in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
