From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for North Portland was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the North Portland post office opened in 1910.

We also found North Portland mentioned on a train schedule titled Union Pacific Railroad Time Tables (September 1924).
