While we don't have a date for the founding of Lee, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1888.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Lee is 80 feet [24 m] above sea level.<4>.

Time Zone: The area where Lee was located is in the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT) and observes daylight saving time

We originally found mention of Lee in both the FIPS-55 and the GNIS. For more information, see the FIPS and GNIS Codes sections on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Lee was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Lee post office opened in 1888.

We also found Lee in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
