While we don't have a date for the founding of Syracuse, you might get a feel for it by knowing that during our research the earliest mention that we found (so far) was in a book dated 1895.

Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Syracuse had an population of 813 people. This is a decrease of 1.57% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 7.51% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Syracuse had a population of 826 people. This makes Syracuse the county's 3rd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 826 people, the population of Syracuse decreased 6.03% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 879 people).
