Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Bloomingdale had an population of 180 people. This is a decrease of 10.89% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 18.55% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Bloomingdale had a population of 202 people. This makes Bloomingdale the county's 17th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 202 people, the population of Bloomingdale decreased 8.6% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 221 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Bloomingdale was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Bloomingdale post office opened in 1822.

We also found Bloomingdale in the book titled U.S. Post Offices (Oct. 1846).
