Welcome to Roosevelt ...

So far, we found very little information about Roosevelt. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Roosevelt to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Roosevelt - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Roosevelt, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Roosevelt , we believe that it would have been located within present day Quay County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Roosevelt, you might consider that their post office opened in 1906.

Time Zone: The area where Roosevelt was located is in the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT) and observes daylight saving time

If Roosevelt still existed, it would have been in the (575) area code.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Roosevelt was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Roosevelt post office opened in 1906.
