So far, we found very little information about Rogers. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

Rogers would have been located within present day Roosevelt County<2>.

The location of Rogers has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3>

While we don't have a date for the founding of Rogers, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1908.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Rogers is 4,220 feet [1,286 m] above sea level.<4> In other words, the altitude of Rogers is about ¾ mile [or ~1¼ km] above sea level.

Time Zone: The area where Rogers was located is in the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT) and observes daylight saving time

Note: If you travel east from Rogers (for example, toward Sudan (TX)), you will leave Mountain Time and cross into the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT).

If Rogers still existed, it would have been in the (575) area code.

We originally found mention of Rogers in both the FIPS-55 and the GNIS. For more information, see the FIPS and GNIS Codes sections on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Rogers was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Rogers post office opened in 1908.
