While we don't have a date for the founding of Ochoa, you might consider that their post office opened in 1917. While the community is gone, the present day location for Ochoa is 3,450 feet [1,052 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the elevation of Ochoa is about ¾ mile [or ~1 km] above sea level.
