With a 2010 count of 16,264 people, the population of Secaucus increased 2.09% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 15,931 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention that we've found for Secaucus was the List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<8> From that list, the Secaucus post office opened in 1879.

We also found Secaucus in the Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
