At the time of the 2010 Census, Deerfield had a population of 4,280 people. This makes Deerfield the county's 27th most populous community.

The population of Deerfield represents 0.33% of the total population of New Hampshire (which has 1,316,470 people), making it the state's 89th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 4,280 people, the population of Deerfield increased 16.37% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 3,678 people).
