From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Emrick was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<5>

X2X - From that list, the Emrick post office opened in 1895.

We also found Emrick on a map titled Rand McNally Map of North Dakota (1897).
