At the time of the 2010 Census, Crosby had a population of 1,070 people (or 51.67% of the total population of Divide County). This makes Crosby the county's most populous community.

The population of Crosby represents 0.16% of the population of North Dakota (which has 672,591 people), making it the state's 58th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 1,070 people, the population of Crosby decreased 1.74% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 1,089 people).
