Welcome to Beartown ...

So far, we found very little information about Beartown. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

Beartown would have been located within present day Granite County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Beartown, you might get a feel for it by knowing that the earliest mention that we've found (so far) was in a book dated 1895.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Beartown is 4,580 feet [1,396 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the altitude of Beartown is about ¾ mile [or ~1½ km] above sea level.
