Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Louise had an population of 169 people. This is a decrease of 15.08% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 46.35% since the 2000 Census).
At the time of the 2010 Census, Louise had a population of 199 people. This makes Louise the county's 4th most populous community.
With a 2010 count of 199 people, the population of Louise decreased 36.83% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 315 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Louise was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>
From that list, the Louise post office opened in 1906.
We also found Louise on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Mississippi (1911).
