The location of Little Rock has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Little Rock, you might consider that their post office opened in 1914. While the community is gone, the present day location for Little Rock is 460 feet [140 m] above sea level.<4>. Time Zone: The area where Little Rock was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time If Little Rock still existed, it would have been in the (601) and (769)<5> area codes.
