Welcome to Van Buren ...

So far, we found very little information about Van Buren. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Van Buren to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. While we don't have the exact location of Van Buren , we believe that it would have been located within present day Osage County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Van Buren, you might get a feel for it by knowing that during our research the earliest mention that we found (so far) was on a map dated 1956.

Time Zone: The area where Van Buren was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time

Communities Also Named Van Buren ...

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are two Missouri communities named Van Buren: This one is located in Osage County and the other is located in Carter County.

Beyond Missouri, there are 20 communities that are also named Van Buren - they are located in Arkansas, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa (2), Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, New York (2), Ohio (2), Pennsylvania (2), Tennessee, Washington and Wisconsin.
