From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Silverleaf was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<5>

X2X - From that list, the Silverleaf post office opened in 1898.

We also found Silverleaf on a map (with an unknown title) dated 1904.
