Welcome to Shanghai ...

So far, we found very little information about Shanghai. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Shanghai to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Shanghai - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Shanghai, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Shanghai , we believe that it would have been located within present day Camden County<2>.

Time Zone: The area where Shanghai was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time

Communities Also Named Shanghai ...

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are two Missouri communities named Shanghai: This one is located in Camden County and the other is located in Vernon County.

Beyond Missouri, there are 9 communities that are also named Shanghai - they are located in Alabama, Illinois, Indiana, North Carolina (2), Texas, Virginia and West Virginia.
