At the time of the 2010 Census, Saint Paul had a population of 1,829 people. This makes Saint Paul the county's 9th most populous community.

The population of Saint Paul represents 0.03% of the total population of Missouri (which has 5,988,927 people), making it the state's 254th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 1,829 people, the population of Saint Paul increased 11.93% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 1,634 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Saint Paul was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Saint Paul post office opened in 1875.
