From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Ohio City was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Ohio City post office opened in 1846.

We also found Ohio City in the book titled Table of U.S. Post Offices in the United States (Jan. 1851).
