While our initial data about Firma came from various goverment sources (GNIS, FIPS), we also found mention of Firma in various books, maps and other sources. When we find a mention, a fact or snippet, we add that information to our Gazetter.

Firma is contained in a comprehensive list of Post Offices that was created by Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<1>

From that list:

The Firma post office opened in 1901 and had closed by 1924.
