While our initial information about Charleston came from various goverment sources (GNIS, US Census, FIPS), we also found mention of Charleston in various books, maps and other sources.

We've created the following list to keep track of the sources that proved useful in adding to our knowledge about Charleston. We hope that they will be useful to you.

Charleston was listed as Charleston Courthouse.

Charleston is contained in a comprehensive list of Post Offices that was created by Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<1>
