From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for North Farmington was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<5>

From that list, the North Farmington post office opened in 1847.

We also found North Farmington in the book titled Table of U.S. Post Offices in the United States (Jan. 1851).
