Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Cambridge had an population of 118,988 people. This is an increase of 13.15% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 17.4% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Cambridge had a population of 105,162 people (which is 6.98% of the total population of Middlesex County). This makes Cambridge the county's 2nd most populous community.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Cambridge was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Cambridge post office opened in 1802.
