So far, we found very little information about Uniontown. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

While we don't have the exact location of Uniontown , we believe that it would have been located within present day Wyandotte County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Uniontown, you might consider that their post office opened in 1851.

If Uniontown still existed, it would have been in the (913) area code.

While we believe that this Uniontown is located in Wyandotte County, we know of another 4 Kansas communities named Uniontown. Those communities are located in the following counties: Bourbon, Johnson, Leavenworth and Shawnee County.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Uniontown was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Uniontown post office opened in 1851.
