While our initial data about Ladysmith came from various goverment sources (GNIS, FIPS), we also found mention of Ladysmith in various books, maps and other sources. When we find a mention, a fact or snippet, we add that information to our Gazetter.

From that list:

The Ladysmith post office opened in 1900 and had closed by 1906.
