While our initial information about Santa Claus came from various goverment sources (GNIS, US Census, FIPS), we also found mention of Santa Claus in various books, maps and other sources.

We've created the following list to keep track of the sources that proved useful in adding to our knowledge about Santa Claus. We hope that they will be useful to you.

Note: When we started collecting data about Santa Claus, we were inconsistent about keeping track of where that data came from. As a result, this list of references and mentions is probably incomplete.
