We originally found mention of Quincy in both the FIPS-55 and the GNIS. For more information, see the FIPS and GNIS Codes sections on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention that we've found for Quincy was the Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).

We also found Quincy on a map (with an unknown title) dated 1908.
