So far, we found very little information about Pine Log. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

Pine Log would have been located within present day Bartow County<2>.



While we don't have a date for the founding of Pine Log, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1833.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Pine Log is 870 feet [265 m] above sea level.<3>.

Time Zone: The area where Pine Log was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

We originally found mention of Pine Log in both the FIPS-55 and the GNIS. For more information, see the FIPS and GNIS Codes sections on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Pine Log was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Pine Log post office opened in 1833.

We also found Pine Log on a map (with an unknown title) dated 1855.
