Welcome to Eves ...So far, we found very little information about Eves. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1> We've added Eves to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. While we don't have a date for the founding of Eves, you might get a feel for it by knowing that the earliest mention that we've found (so far) was in a book dated 1895. While the community is gone, the present day location for Eves is 620 feet [189 m] above sea level.<3>. Time Zone: The area where Eves was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time Note: If you travel west from Eves (for example, toward Gaylesville (AL)), you will leave Eastern Time and cross into the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT).
