So far, we found very little information about Elmore. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

Elmore would have been located within present day Shasta County<2>.

Elmore was established in 1880s. The community was inundated by Lake Shasta in 1944.

The origin (or the toponymy) of Elmore: Named after Robert Elmore.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Elmore is 1,060 feet [323 m] above sea level.<3>.

Time Zone: The area where Elmore was located is in the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT) and observes daylight saving time
