Welcome to Sayers ...

So far, we found very little information about Sayers. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Sayers to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Sayers - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Sayers, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Sayers , we believe that it would have been located within present day Yavapai County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Sayers, you might consider that their post office opened in 1908.

Time Zone: The area where Sayers was located is in the Mountain Standard Time Zone (MST) and does not observe daylight saving time

Adding Sayers to Our Gazetteer ...

As we work on our Gazetteer, we occasionally find mention of a community that is new to us. When we find such a community, we add it to our Gazetteer with the hope of adding more information in the future.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Sayers was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Sayers post office opened in 1908.
