Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Draper had an population of 48,519 people. This is an increase of 14.77% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 92.38% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Draper had a population of 42,274 people. This makes Draper the county's 8th most populous community.

The population of Draper represents 1.53% of the total population of Utah (which has 2,763,885 people), making it the state's 16th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 42,274 people, the population of Draper increased 67.62% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 25,220 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Draper was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<8>

From that list, the Draper post office opened in 1853.

We also found Draper in the book titled List of Post Offices in the United States (1870).
