Welcome to Wheeler ...So far, we found very little information about Wheeler. The location of Wheeler has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While the community is gone, the present day location for Wheeler is 2,870 feet [875 m] above sea level.<4> In other words, the elevation of Wheeler is about ½ mile above sea level. Time Zone: The area where Wheeler was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time If Wheeler still existed, it would have been in the (304) and (681)<5> area codes.
