At the time of the 2010 Census, Keystone had a population of 282 people. This makes Keystone the county's 8th most populous community.

The population of Keystone represents 0.02% of the population of West Virginia (which has 1,852,994 people), making it the state's 199th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 282 people, the population of Keystone decreased 37.75% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 453 people).
