Huff would have been located within present day Randolph County<2>.
The location of Huff has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3>
While we don't have a date for the founding of Huff, you might consider that their post office opened in 1889.
While the community is gone, the present day location for Huff is 2,820 feet [860 m] above sea level.<4> In other words, the altitude of Huff is about ½ mile above sea level.
Time Zone: The area where Huff was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time
Huff would have been located in the (304) & (681)<5> area codes.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Huff was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>
From that list, the Huff post office opened in 1889.
We also found Huff in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
