While we don't have a date for the founding of Kaukauna, you might get a feel for it by knowing that the earliest mention that we've found (so far) was in a book dated 1895.

Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Kaukauna had an population of 16,274 people. This is an increase of 5.25% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 25.35% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Kaukauna had a population of 15,462 people (which is 31.53% of the total population of Calumet County). This makes Kaukauna the county's 3rd most populous community.

The population of Kaukauna represents 0.27% of the population of Wisconsin (which has 5,686,986 people), making it the state's 53rd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 15,462 people, the population of Kaukauna increased 19.09% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 12,983 people).
