Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Newcastle had an population of 12,286 people. This is an increase of 18.36% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 58.8% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Newcastle had a population of 10,380 people. This makes Newcastle the county's 25th most populous community.

The population of Newcastle represents 0.15% of the population of Washington (which has 6,724,540 people), making it the state's 78th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 10,380 people, the population of Newcastle increased 34.16% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 7,737 people).
