Miscellaneous References and Mentions

While our initial information about Carnation came from various goverment sources (GNIS, US Census, FIPS), we also found mention of Carnation in various books and other sources.

We've created the following list to keep track of the sources that proved useful in adding to our knowledge about Carnation. We hope that they will be useful to you.

Note: When we started collecting data about Carnation, we were inconsistent about keeping track of where that data came from. As a result, this list of references and mentions is probably incomplete.

Carnation is contained in a comprehensive list of Post Offices that was created by Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<1>

We found Carnation in these Censuses: 2010-1990. See our Census Page for Carnation for more information.

Both the GNIS and FIPS databases contain entries for Carnation. See our Misc Page for Carnation for more information.
