So far, we found very little information about Alpha. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

Alpha would have been located within present day Spokane County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Alpha, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1881.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Alpha is 2,020 feet [616 m] above sea level.<3>.

Time Zone: The area where Alpha was located is in the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT) and observes daylight saving time

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Alpha was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>
