At the time of the 2010 Census, the Town of Charlotte had a population of 3,754 people. This makes Charlotte the county's 13th most populous community.

The population of Charlotte represents 0.6% of the total population of Vermont (which has 625,741 people), making it the state's 42nd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 3,754 people, the population of Charlotte increased 5.18% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 3,569 people).
