Welcome to Tally ...So far, we found very little information about Tally. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1> We've added Tally to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. The location of Tally has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Tally, you might consider that their post office opened in 1885. While the community is gone, the present day location for Tally is 260 feet [79 m] above sea level.<4>. Time Zone: The area where Tally was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time The location where Tally once stood is in the (804) area code.
