Miscellaneous References and MentionsWhile our initial data about Tally came from various goverment sources (GNIS), we also found mention of Tally in various books, maps and other sources. When we find a mention, a fact or snippet, we add that information to our Gazetter. Tally is contained in a comprehensive list of Post Offices that was created by Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<1> From that list: The Tally post office opened in 1885 and had closed by 1910.
