At the time of the 2010 Census, Uintah had a population of 1,322 people. This makes Uintah the county's 14th most populous community.

The population of Uintah represents 0.05% of the total population of Utah (which has 2,763,885 people), making it the state's 135th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 1,322 people, the population of Uintah increased 17.3% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 1,127 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Uintah was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<8>

From that list, the Uintah post office opened in 1869.
