From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Starr was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<5>
From that list, the Starr post office opened in 1893.
We also found Starr mentioned on a train schedule titled Union Pacific Railroad Time Tables (September 1924).
