Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Richfield had an population of 7,889 people. This is an increase of 4.48% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 15.22% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Richfield had a population of 7,551 people (or 36.3% of the total population of Sevier County). This makes Richfield the county's most populous community.

The population of Richfield represents 0.27% of the total population of Utah (which has 2,763,885 people), making it the state's 67th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 7,551 people, the population of Richfield increased 10.28% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 6,847 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Richfield was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Richfield post office opened in 1871.

We also found Richfield on a map (with an unknown title) dated 1890.
