We originally found mention of Peerless in both the FIPS-55 and the GNIS. For more information, see the FIPS and GNIS Codes sections on our Miscellaneous Page.
From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Peerless was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>
From that list, the Peerless post office opened in 1924.
We also found Peerless mentioned on a train schedule titled Utah Railway Employees' Time Table #96 Employees' Time Table #31 (February 1931).
