While we don't have a date for the founding of Lucin, you might consider that their post office opened in 1905. While the community is gone, the present day location for Lucin is 4,470 feet [1,362 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the elevation of Lucin is about ¾ mile [or ~1¼ km] above sea level.
