So far, we found very little information about Sedan. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

Sedan was located While we don't have the exact location of Sedan , we believe that it would have been located within present day Gonzales County<2>. While we don't have a date for the founding of Sedan, you might consider that their post office opened in 1884. Time Zone: The area where Sedan was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time The Area Code where Sedan was located: 830 Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are 15 communities that are also named Sedan - they are located in Alabama, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas (2), Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska (2), New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
